I design and lead reliable software systems for complex environments, from cloud-native platforms to offline-first mobile apps. I also teach the next generation how to build them.

Software is ultimately about people.

I’m most useful where technical ambition, practical constraints, and human needs collide.

For more than seven years, I’ve built software for high-consequence work: modernizing legacy systems, shaping cross-platform architecture, and creating tools that give engineers their time back. I care as much about how a team works together as I do about the code it ships.

That perspective comes from more than engineering. I’m an adjunct computer science professor, a former Army National Guard sergeant, a musician, and a mentor. Each role has made me a more careful communicator and a steadier technical leader.

Building systems and the teams behind them.

Software Engineer III

Jacobs

Nashua, New Hampshire

I build mission-critical systems for complex, high-stakes environments, turning ambitious technical requirements into reliable products across web, mobile, and desktop.

  • Led the modernization of a monolithic desktop application into a cloud-native platform built on GraphQL microservices and Kubernetes, improving performance by 75%.
  • Architected a cross-platform planning application for Windows, web, Android, and iOS with offline-first synchronization and automatic conflict resolution.
  • Founded and led an Azure DevOps Extensions team whose React applications eliminated more than 40 hours of manual reporting each year.
  • Supported 70+ engineers through CI/CD automation, release optimization, and Git administration as part of the DevSecOps team.

Adjunct Professor

Southern New Hampshire University

Manchester, New Hampshire

I teach undergraduate computer science through practical examples, direct feedback, and coursework grounded in the realities of modern software engineering.

  • Deliver online curriculum aligned with industry practices and emerging technologies.
  • Help students build durable problem-solving skills through applied projects, case studies, and individualized guidance.

Sergeant · Musician

39th Army Band, NH Army National Guard

Manchester, New Hampshire

Eight years of service as a trumpet player, vocalist, and noncommissioned officer taught me how to lead with clarity, listen closely, and perform when the stakes are real.

  • Led a team of six soldiers and conducted quarterly performance assessments.
  • Named the 2016 Army Music Soldier of the Year, a national recognition of leadership, artistry, and military achievement.
